So I am sitting in my bed, having contractions every 3 min. They hurt so bad-almost as bad as my heart. How long will this last? Please tell me i am almost done miscarrying so I can try to be a good mom to the baby I have? I knew I would have cramping but it literally feels like labor. Will I pass something that looks like a baby? I need some guidance- I am utterly lost.

First off, I am SO sorry for the loss and the pain you are going through. With my last m/c it was a full 24 hours before I didn't have the horrid cramps. Then I just bled for about 3 days.

I'm sorry. That's how my miscarriage was. Call your doctor tomorrow and ask for a prescription for pain meds. I had the labor pains for 3 or 4 days until I passed the sac, then all the physical pain stopped. You will know when you pass the sac. Mine was about 4 inches long and about 3 inches wide. It's not small. Good luck

I think it depends on how far along you are ... I have read online where they make the women give birth to the baby!! Most of them were 15 weeks or more! Im sorry for your loss!!!!

I just read your other posts.

As far as what the baby will look like depends on what age the baby stopped growing. The baby will probably look like gray tissue in a bubble.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry momma. My miscarriage was like that and I bleed for over a week. Badly. I was 5 weeks.

As for what you might see, it really depends on how far along you were.

i went thru it on the day i was MOVING! so yeah, it sucks!!

im so sorry for your loss. i miscarried when i was about 9w5d. i did it all at home. my doc gave me the option to have it done, but i was going to wait and see if the baby passed on its own and if it didnt then i was going to have a d&c done.

it happened all on its own, so it probably wasnt nearly as painful as youre dealing with.(ETA scratch that last line, i thought i read you were in the hospital, but that was from a previous post that you had gone to the hospital)
