What do you "consider" your angel baby? Shannon 18 kids; Ohio 9773 posts

Do you consider every child you have ever lost: death, miscarriage, stillborn and abortion as an angel baby?

NO DRAMA....THERE IS NOT EVEN A NEED TO COMMENT!
You can if you like....but no drama. This is truly a "to each their own" type of subject.

If you comment, please don't drag religion into it. I think we will all agree that "angel" is a much more considerate term than non-living or dead.

I would just like the results of the poll out of my own curiosity. I was on another thread and a question was asked to a fellow BG'er and it got me thinking. I suspect that we are all very different in this regard as to what we consider an angel baby.

Again, NO DRAMA please.

I'd say all of them would be considered angel babies.
I only have one angel baby that resulted in a miscarriage.

Any baby/child that died is an angel in my book.

Wither it be from abortion to a still birth, a m/c or something that happend later in life.

I can't vote. I consider an angel baby an early loss. Like 1st trimester. If I had an early loss I would put angel baby on my page...I have chilren.

i choose not to list because they weren't meant to be if they aren't here now. i only rejoice in what i have. now if they were here and taken away then i would rejoice in the time i spent with them.

Thats tough, Id say any baby who died, miscarriage, still born or died anytime after birth. Im not sure on the Abortion thing mostly because if you get an abortion it was most likely your choice so could you really mourn the loss of a child you never wanted?

I say angel babies... I only have one angel baby, and it's listed as that. I have two children.

I'm torn as to which option to choose. I do have my angel listed as my child AND as an angel. Because he is both. I would NOT personally consider a child who is aborted for other than medical reasons to be an "angel baby." But, I believe it applies to stillborns, miscarriages and children who die after birth.

ETA: I guess I should have said that I personally would not list a baby aborted for other than medical reasons as an angel baby. On the otherhand, I do not think that their life is worth any less, but making the choice to end the life for other than medical reasons is different than an involuntary loss. (I could medical reasons as an involuntary loss.)
