I have been preparing for this baby since sperm met egg. My husband and I had been TTC for abouta year so I even had boxes of diapers before conception (pathetic  )

Anyhooooooo, I have not really nested per say. I have, however finished everything I need to do with one week to spare. :D

The question is: Was there one thing that you can tell me that you wished you had done before your delivery from the stork? Was there a thing that you did that saved you a lot of time and frustration???

I am forever greatful for your imput!!! I know Chris (my husband) is often the butt of many of my posts, but I think this is worth adding in the "Preparing for baby" post.... He is ready!!

I wish I had brought outfits for her to the hospital. I never thought about it before and she wore the hospital onsie the entire time except the day she left, I did bring an outfit for that....

And I did spend a LOT of time finishing her room and she didnt use it for like 5 months....haha, time wasted!

But I think that is it....Bring a LOT of pads too, I didnt bring enough and got to wear the lovely hospital ones!

cute pic! for me the best baby item ever is the angelcare baby monitor. it detects baby's movement and breathing....it was a TOTAL lifesaver for me since I never slept well b/c I was so worried about sids! If you're a SIDS freak like me....it is worth every dime!!!!

I wish had brought deodorant to the hospital. Most lists for your hospital bag don't have that on there lol.

I'm going to agree with the extra outfits things, I had to have my Husband go back and get sleepers, onesies, also caps, mittens, socks plus a couple of receiving blankets.

Snacks for the hospital-I practically starved to death(okay a little dramatic).Once I got home I wished I had friends and family come the first week, instead of the second and third week. The baby is usually always great the first week, and the second is usually more hectic as they tend to show their true colors then, lol. Also maybe pre-make some dishes to freeze-cooking isn't always easy when you have a screaming baby,if no-one is around to cook for you.
