I found the cutest crib on criagslist for sooo cheap and i wanted to get it but have no money for it. I needed things like clothes for work and soo it wasnt in my budget . My family said i dont need a crib until the baby is like 6 months anyways. Did anyone else not have a crib for a while?

i had a crib, but my guy slept in a cradle for the first couple months, in my room. but i would still put him in the crib to play when i would be cleaning his room, or putting laundry away or w/e. you may not neeeed one right now, but you willsoon enough, and better to find one now for agood price then to wait and not find anything you like inafew months.

my baby doesnt sleep in her crib yet and she is 3 months. As soon as they sit up on their own they NEED a crib. She/he can sleep in a bassinet or co-sleeper for now, but those cost almost as much as a cheap or used crib.

I guess its up to you, as long as you have something else for baby to sleep in.. I have my crib already, but I'm using a bassinet for a while in the beginning

My baby is 11 weeks, just started sleeping in his crib in his room. He was in our room in a bassinett, but we decided it was time for him to move, especially since he was sleeping the night. I think a crib is more important than a bassinett, but it's really up to you!

My daughter slept in her bassinet for about 3 or 4 months and then went to her crib. My son was in his crib at about 1 month. The bassinets seemed to unstable for a baby when they start rolling around.

Well im sure you will need a crib eventually but I suggest just to have a little bassinet until you can afford a crib.

That is where I got my crib and everything like changing table, dresser, clothes and toys. Really I think you can get the crib when ever you feel like getting. Ive had mine since I was about 2 or 3 months...
