Ok, so I'm trying to get everything ready for Khi, and I plan on Bfing. I don't really see the point in investing in an electric pump because I will be home with him all the time. My only concern is my husband wanting to play a role and help with feedings.I was thinking about just getting a manual pump and pumping thru out the day so they he will be able to get up and help with night feedings. I've gotten a lot of negative feedback about manual pumps and how since they don't pump as much can decrease your supply. I'm completely clueless about this process so I'm wanting some feedback. If I bf constantly and just pump in between feedings how might that effect my supply? ( I know everyone is different) If you used a manual pump what was your experience with them, and what type would you reccomend? I have more questions about this as well I just can't think of them right now, so I'll ask those as I remember..lol

I just got a asingle electric pump and I swear its the best thing, dont get a manual one. Its great for getting some for dad to feed or so someone else can help. and its nice to know HOW MUCH your baby is eating. cause with Bfeeding its so hard to tell. I got an evenflo one at walgreens for like 40$.

I was hoping to do the same thing, pump a little so dad can help feed to, but I just figure that thats something you do for now and dad gets to help later. Thats just me I don't want to have to fuss with all that just so he can feed once in awhile. Dads get plenty on bonding in other ways.
