We swayed girl and I was so excited to use the name River. However GOD had other plans and we are welcoming a 3rd boy! Hubby says River is not masculine enough for a boy. Last name is Holtman. So far the names we like are Atticus, Hudson, and Baylor. I really want a somewhat uncommon name. If you have any other names u wanna share I would appreciate it

I like Hudson! If you look up name popularity on the SSA website, River is more common as a boys name so your SO is wrong... lol

What are your other kids names?

Connor
Alexis
Cassius (cash-us)

My son was the first time we used a semi unique name. So now I want to do it again. Lol

Ha! We also have a Connor and Cassius was always on our list but I couldn’t get DH to fully commit! Our 3rd boy is Finley (Finn) which so far seems fairly uncommon.

Just some other random ideas... Callum, Ronan, Theo, Orion, Ezra, Adrian, Archer, Ciaran/Kieran, Rocco, Brody.

That’s kind of funny because I just had my 5th baby and when I found out I was expecting I wanted River for a boy. When I found out it was a girl my husband suggested using River still and said he didn’t like it as a boy name. It took me a bit to come around to it but we did end up naming my daughter River. I feel like I’ve been seeing that name a lot which is so weird cause I know it’s not popular.

My bonus son’s name is Hudson Maxwell! It’s a strong and sweet name. He’s never had another Hudson in school either! I also think Lake is a beautiful boys name if you want to go a little more unique!
