What is the best, most meaningful gift you have ever received, and from whom?
From SO's grandmother. The Christmas after I got married in Jamaica, she gave me an island of Jamaica necklace. We had no idea, but SO's now deceased grandad was working there many many years ago and she went meet him there while pregnant with SO's mom who is also deceased and he gave her that necklace. I was so surprised she gave it to me. I loved it. So much meaning to both of us.

Aww, I love that!! Thoughtful gifts are the best.
My parents gave me a downpayment for a car. I was not expecting it. Growing up, they didn't help pay for anything. I paid for school myself. It meant a lot that they wanted to help.
My bf gave me a necklace the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was really sweet and romantic.

That is sooo sweet. I just adore this <3
That is a hard one. My aunt gave me a scrapbook of my childhood when I got married the first time. My mom gave me a book she made with all the bedtime songs she sang to me as a kid. She also gave me a recipe book with all her handwritten recipes when I moved out.
my step-dad offered me a desk job with benefits (my first "big girl" job) & I currently work there 2 years later. My mom gave me her car when she moved, a 2012 Hyundai elantra.
they both gave me a boost into adulthood .. I was already an adult but I was kind of stuck, if that makes sense. things have gotten substantially better since I received both of those things.
Every once in a while my aunt will give me something that reminds me of my mom or something my mom had/made. Also anything hand made by my aunt is always precious as she has really bad arthritis in her bands so getting anything from her that was made is so cherished.
