can baby moving cause contractions? I feel little man move and stuff but then my belly gets tight right away. Just curious if it's him or him causing my uterus to contract.

Possibly. I had an irritable uterus, so it seemed like any tiny thing would set my contractions off. However, when i was in labor, my midwives assistant told me that sometimes when the baby moves it can feel like a contraction.

I have one of those too LOL. But, it's probably just him because my belly is nothing but him. He's taken over my entire stomach 38

You were diagnosed with an irritable uterus?

Yea a few weeks ago during my NST, it was irritable as hell but I was also having some real contractions too. I can feel a difference or at least I think I can. The real one's were lasting a min+ but the irritability was like 20-30 sec. long tightening. None of it was consistent.

I had it with the twins too which is why I went on bed rest. It's not bad this time but I try and drink a lot of water and it helps. I def. feel like everything causes my uterus to tighten anymore though Angry

I had it horribly with all four of my pregnancies. Bad enough to wake me up most nights. I cant imagine what it would be like with multiples :/

I'm shocked at how well I sleep at night Surprised hopefully I didn't just jinx myself LOL. It was a bit rough with them. The OB was worried about uterine rupture too so I was on all the drugs to calm it down but nothing really worked. Spent a week in the hospital, not even allowed up to pee and then went home on strict bed rest only allowed to walk to the bathroom. I'm glad that is over 38
