I've been seeing a ton of posts on Instagram about it and they're really not that expensive so I think I'm gonna buy one in the next month or so.

I did some research on these. Be very careful. If you do not buy the correct one for your skin type, you could add additional scaring. I've seen people faces get fucked UP!

There are many different ones out there, ensure you don't buy one because it is "cheap". make sure it is dermatology tested and follow the guidelines correctly.

My recommendation: go see a dermatologist and have him recommend one or have him do the first round, show you how to diy and then follow his recommendations.

Personally: I don't ever f**k with my face b/c I see everyone else doing it on a sm site - f**k that

I assumed your face because that is what the majority of people use it for LOL

So where are you trying to even out your skin tone?

Edited to add: Maybe be more specific next time so we don't have to assume when trying to give tips/recommendations.

Good luck rolling away.

The backs of my arms are splotchy.  And I also mentioned scarring.  Which I was referring to my older stretch marks on my legs and scars from cutting in my teen years (which people also use them for).

Scarring can be anywhere, I have scarring on my face from acne.

Point is: Just be careful about what you buy and how you use it.

Because it doesn't matter where I plan on using it, I asked if anyone on here had used them.  If you haven't, why comment?  I said I wanted to buy one in the next month or so, you're acting like I'm jumping into something. That's a lot of time for me to spend looking into it.  And I also didn't say it was "cheap"  (don't use quotes and quote someone incorrectly...)  I said it was not expensive,  meaning easily affordable to me...  Something $50-$80 might not be inexpensive to other people but in my situation it is *shrugs * you make a lot of assumptions and read between the lines way too much lol.  It was a simple question
