Im 17 weeks plus 3. Tuesday night my ankles were swollen. Last night my feet swelled really bad. Right now I have no swelling but my legs, feet, arms and hands feel really numb and it has that feeling when your leg "falls asleep."  Is that normal this early?

I'm not sure, I never had swelling until the end but I know some people do. You should definitely call your dr though. Elevate your legs and drink some water in the meantime.

That's what I thought too, later on. I never really had swelling in previous pregnancies but this one has giving me a run for my money.

Swelling that goes away generally isn't caused by something serious. Usually more from being on your feet a lot, something you ate, etc. Proper rest, hydration, and reducing sodium in your diet will help.

The numbness could be caused by baby's position. You could always call and check but it's not something I'd rush in for personally.

You work at a group home and are always on your feet right? That could be the cause of swelling. Taking breaks with your feet propped and more water will help.

And like Tinana said,  sounds like baby is sitting on a nerve and thats why your numb.

Yeah I'm always on my feet at work and on my days off I'm chasing after SO 17 month old nephew.
