I'm not ready for things to get back to normal. I'm not ready to live life like all this didnt happen. I'm not ready to go back to how things were. Life is forcing me to move on and I just can't. I Cant imagine going back to work, or going out for "fun." I just want to lay in bed and try my hardest to remember her cause I'm not ready for her to be a memory.

I'm so sorry! Is there any kind of FMLA that will allow you to stay home and not go right back to work? I can understand wanting time and you should be given that!

For real though. This should be covered under grieving the loss of a loved one.

What she said. I wouldn't want to go back to work either if I lost my child. I'm so sorry again for ur loss. You deserve and need time to grieve.

They offer time off but it's unpaid. I Cant afford to take the time off unpaid unfortunately. I'm tempted but I don't think it's financially possible right now.

I would at least try to do the 6 weeks for post-child birth. You might be eligible for short term disability which isn't a big check but it's at least a little money.

I would look into it even if it's just a week or 2 or how ever long u need.  You need that time. Do u have any vacation time or sick time saved up u can use???

Hugs momma, of course you absolutely do. I would think that you are still considered post partum? And be eligible for whatever post partum leave you would have gotten a couple months from now? I hope I'm not insesitive....but I think you were 24 weeks and that is not a miscarriage anymore, so you are going through post partum recovery physically. I wish I could help more. I'd bring you dinner and do your laundry if you were by me :(

I'm going to call HR in the morning and see what is available for me. I know I'm not going back this week cause I need to do all the funeral arrangements. So they should at least be understanding about that. My manager is not a very nice person. In fact I spent most my pregnancy stressed and I'm considering changing jobs.
