Good morning Ladies,
I received yesterday my daughter preschool screening results and mentioned something about following up with the child skills with a Play Based Assessment and something about child Eligibility Determination Conference.
I don't understand what these two means, anyone with similar experience?
Thank you

We just went through a Play based assessment with my almost 3 year old. He has a slight speech delay. The assessment will check for everything from speech to fine and gross motor skills and attention span, etc. If they find she has a delay, she may qualify for extra help in the areas she needs. My son just qualified for free preschool with our school district and 1 hour a week of speech therapy in school as well. No need to worry about anything! They are just trying to see if your daughter could benefit from any extra help.

If you have any other questions about it let me know! It is a very low key fun "play time" for your kiddo!
