Ok, I have two kids, I should know what I'm doing, but I went just to peek around and pick out some things and I'm like uhhhhhh.

I got some clothes and stupid baby socks. How much baby clothes do YOU get a newb?

And I got some wipes and diapers. I'll be getting the car seat and stroller soon.

I cosleep and breastfeed, so no crib, bottles, baby monitors etc needed. My other boys didn't like pacis, but I'm gonna pick some up. A couple rattles.

I'll be searching Craigslist for a swing or seat, exersaucer, and a Moby wrap.

No playpen needed. Baby soap and stuff I'll order.

No baby washclothes, baby towels, etc, needed.

What else? What are your MUSTS for a newb?

Pretty much what you've put down, what's the weather like in August? DD3 was my only winter baby and I just dressed her in singlets, body suit over that then a warm sleeper and socks! All day, every day. Too cold to dress them other wise.

Hot as f**k, lol!

I got today 12 onesies, 8 outfits, 5 shorts, and 4 sleepers. I'll probably pick up a multipack of white onesies also. Being so hot, I expect the newb to probably hangout at home in a diaper or a plain onesie.

We're sort of simple, but with our other two, our simplicity came from necessity because we were not very well off. This time around, we're better off, but I can't find a need for much more than the basics we had with the others.

Oh yeah, definitely just a diaper/onesie then! I think that's all one needs really, basics, it's not like they'll remember, eh? Lol.

That's what I'm figuring! But as per usual, I feel like I'm missing something. Oh, gotta get a hat because sun. And maybe a cute outfit for the hospital

I kind of just splurged on things I didn't have with our first.  I gotta bigger Vera Bradley bag, for a diaper bag. I bought the holiday stuff ("my first" bodysuits) for him to wear once or twice.

we had pretty much everything, my kids were different seasons so I bought a few seasonal items, but DS2 was so big that they're evened out with the season.

Blanket embroidered with his name.

Had to get a new mattress for the crib since DS1 still had it in his toddler bed.

I bought some cute teething bibs, that have like a ribbed edge.

bought better bottles, instead of the cheapies I was gifted with DS1.

bought myself a few nursing camis.

I did buy a new forehead scanner thermometer.

pretty much just asked everyone to get diapers and wipes, because we really needed nothing.

If you want a good seat to put little one down in when you are busy or need to do some stuff. I recommend he 3 to 1 toddler rocker from target. It vibrates. Its a seat that sits up and leans back. So 2 levels. It has hanging toys that can be changed. Also if baby falls asleep in it you can remoce the toy bar very easy and lean it back and a bar comes out underneath for turning it into a bassinet for safe sleep. I love it and ds is super picky but hes in it all the time. Only place he likes to be put down. Also they wont outgrow it making it a good non wasting purchase as it can be used as a toddler rocking chair. My dd is 2 and shes in it when her brother isnt.
