I just drank my first pepsi in over 6 months and it was the best tasting drink ever lol but now my baby is bouncing around like crazy lol. I usually don't drink caffeine and now I feel bad.

Occasionally, but with your bp issues and the need for meds, def watch your intake.

200 mg a day or less is the usual daily
recommendation. Don't feel bad as long as you're keeping an eye on it!

PS A Pepsi is well within the 200 mg as long as we're not talking like, 2 liter bottle... 38

I really don't know how much is in a 2 liter but I'm guessing it's way more than 200mg. If I don't buy soda, I'm fine without it, so I try not to! I don't even really like it but I guess I'm a recovering addict or something. Angry

Yep! My entire pregnancy and even mow nursing... not a lot, I cut way back... a coffee a day, two max... if only one coffee I'd allow myself a Pepsi.

edit. I lied... once I started having the high BP i stopped the coffee and rarely had soda or tea with Caffeine! Once in a way, a soda, because for some reason that was my only real craving was fountain drinks but I tried to stick to gingnerale or sprite once the BP was an issue

I've never liked pop, but craved it fiercely while pregnant.

I had BP issues during the end of DS1's pregnancy, and the carbonation of sparkling water satisfied me.

During pregnancy? No. Except for tea. And that would be a limit of one a day.
And I am a coffee addict, so it was difficult

Yes, Mt Dew is my weakness. I cant tell you exactly how much daily. I grew up on it. I have recently stopped buying it so i now dont have any to drink and boy is my energy gone. I dislike coffee so none for me. But sweet tea is amazing. Ive tried green tea and its tolerable i guess. Though if we go out im totally having a soda. Im trying to slow way down.
