Omg please tell me this gets easier. 12 days and my baby's doc has me all stressed and I feel like I'm not making enough or he isn't taking enough out. I just want to flip. Trying so hard to stick with it.

What is the dr saying? It's very stressful and it eventually gets easier but it does take time. Maybe look for a lactation consultant ?

Is this the first one you've nursed momma? Do you think baby is getting enough? If you've nursed before and think baby is getting enough, then probably he is :)

Is baby having plenty of wet diapers? Thats really the best way to tell if they are getting enough. It gets easier, the first few weeks are the hardest. Just take it one nursing session at a time

Mothers milk tea, oatmeal and lots of water can build your supply if you arent producing enough. I always have an oversupply for the first few months and leak all over while baby barely has to suck to get full but DD (my first) had latching issues so she still took 3 weeks to hit her birth weight which her Dr wasnt happy about. Is baby having enough wet diapers?

ExclamationExclamation Steel cut oats are best to use, you could also try taking Fenugreek if you think you need a boost. As long as baby is having plenty of wet diapers and you're staying hydrated, you should be fine. Also pumping right after feedings help with supply.

Yes it gets easier. Most drs are trained to question nature. Just do your thing.

Yes he usually always has over 6 wet diapers and small stools with each one and one to two big stools. He is sleepy and will go 3-4 hours between nursing sessions. Sometime he starts to cluster and I've been pumping twice a day. This is the first baby I've stuck to it with nursing. I've usually quit by now
