My son is 2, will be 3 in April and im worried because he hits his head alot!!
just since yesterday he has brusied both sides of his forehead, we have ceramic tile floors and wood floors and his brother and him were playing and he smacked his head on the floor and it bruised up, then a few hours later he fell off a toy and brusied the other side. Today he ran down the hall and somehow turned the corner to sharp and brusied/skinned the side of his temple.  I feel so bad for him and i tell him to not run etc but kids will be kids.. he seems fine but hitting his head so much cant be good for him.

should i be worried about damage??

If he is showing any signs of trauma then yes be worried, but otherwise ive found my son, who also hits his head pretty hard on everything constantly, is pretty sturdy. The only time he has gotten seriously hurt is when he jumped off the chair and busted his face open between his eyes on the kid table.

Sounds like ds2... He was always bumping his head when he was smaller. Hes also always had a bit of a big head. Hes 4 now and has a lot more control over it. Lol

Some kids are just clumsy! I wouldn't worry much unless he was exhibiting signs that he's really hurt himself. I have one girl who is like this. She would bang her head off the floor during tantrums as a baby, I put her ass in a helmet. Then as she got bigger, started walking, she was always falling. At one point, she got 6 stitches in her eyebrow for falling into a metal chair then 3 mos. later got a staple in her head for falling into the same metal chair (that's when I decided to get rid of the metal chair Shy). Now lately, it seems my oldest has become the clumsy one. She broke a glass bowl and lamp all in one day at her Nanny's house. Just always make sure he's not seriously hurt and then make sure he isn't afraid to keep being him. I always worry that if I freak out, it'll freak them out and they'll be afraid to live and have fun. He's little still but I'm sure he'll slowly grow out of his clumsiness.
