Something I didn't think to ask DD's Pedi browncrayon07 2 kids; 4 angel babies; Dixon, Il, United States 2329 posts

I know all children are different, and progress at different rates.  What kind of milestones should I be looking for with DD?? She is 4 months old, but she was 2 months premature.

It's been so long since I have had an infant I don't remember what's recommended. Let alone with a premature infant. I didn't think to ask at her appointment last week, because doc was just so amazed with what she could do.

So she's really only 2 months? I get confused with this lol..I wouldn't say much at 2 months, maybe starting to roll? I can't remember what mine were doing at that age (even though my youngest is only 15 months lol) eat, poop, cry I'm sure. 38

adjusted she's only 2 months old. So she will be delayed in some development milestones. Don't need to worry to much.

Lol she definitely eats poops and cries. And yes she's technically 2 months.

I've been around babies all my life. Someone was always having babies, and I still do not know what they should be doing haha.

If she's laying on her back and you hold her hands she tries to pull herself up, if that makes sense. She does really good at holding her head up. I've gotten her to hold her bottle once, but she hasn't done it since..... that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Oh she will coo up storm if she's in the mood haha. She started trying to coo when she was 2 months (so technically a newborn).

I thought so, she sounds fine to me, honestly.

I wouldn't really be looking for any milestones at that age. 2 month olds (adjusted) don't really ao
much anyway. I mean, 4 month olds don't do an awful lot either lol. As long as she's feeding well and growing I wouldn't be worrying about much else right now
