Had my d&c done on 8/23. 2 days later and My neck and throat are still sore from the breathing tube, but the real problem is the sharp pain in my abdomen.

It hurts so bad to cough, when I pee its a stabbing pain, and I just have a general pain in that area that is constant.
Also the pathologist called me last night that they did not find the fetus in the tissue that was removed. I have had very very light spotting, no clots/ and only a little blood in my urine, but it hurts beyond belief.
Is there a possibility that they missed the fetus and that is why I am hurting so bad? My doctors office is closed till Monday, but I am really considering heading in to the ER if this pain does not slack up. Its to the point I am almost doubled over!
When I stand up, I almost pass out from the pain in my stomach and lower back.
My blood pressure is also very low.
I am so confused, I didn't have all these issues with my first loss.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and I am pretty sure I am running fever, my face is red, and I am hot.
I don't have a thermometer though :(

I think with all the symptoms I would also go in.

I am so sorry for your loss

For you are having a fever and just had this procedure I would go in. You could have an infection and could be becoming septic. So sorry you are going through this

I'm sorry for your loss. I would certainly go in. I too had severe abdominal pain and a fever a week after my d&c a few years ago. Turned out I had appendicitis and they didn't get all of the tissue from the d&c. Had to go under again.
Good luck. Hope things get better soon!

Oh no, I'm so sorry, my heart hurts for you... Very Sad
I'd go to the ER, you can never be too careful with infections. Please update us later, I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we will be thinking about you and sending positive thoughts. ♡

Last night I woke up at 3 am in so much pain, I pretty much crawled to the bathroom.
I sat down and passed a few small clots. I IMMEDIATELY felt better.
I went back to bed, and slept soundly till 6 am. I woke up, the fever is down, the pain is better, and I am now bleeding a little bit. I called the doctors office again and the nurse said that most likely the clot was keeping the blood from coming out so my uterus is still full of blood and clots, now that I am bleeding and passing the remaining tissue it should be much better, if its not better by this afternoon to come to the ER.
But I feel so much better, it still hurts when I pee, but its not nearly as painful as it was yesterday!

Thank you ladies, I appreciate all of you!
