Being induced Monday morning. I'll be 36 weeks and 5 days. I know I'll be closer to 37 weeks, but will he still be considered a preemie? Anyone who's had a 36-weeker want to share their story? Did LO have any issues? I'm getting very nervous. :/

I'm sorry. I've only been back for like a week. Is there a medical reason they're inducing you so early? Yikes.

My youngest was born at 36+4 and 6 lbs 14oz and she's perfectly healthy. She turns 4 in March. Never spent one night in the NICU.

DD2 was born at 36+1 and although she was tiny, 5lbs 2 ounces, she was perfectly healthy. And is a beautiful 2 year old now. I was induced due to severe pre-e after being on hospital bed rest for 3 weeks.

I had to google it because I'd never heard of it. I'm sure your doctors will take every precaution. Mine was a repeat C-section because my fluids were low. I had pitocin with my son because my water broke at 34 weeks and he ended up going into distress and the cut me open and had him out 14 mins later. So when sister came along later and needed to come at 36+4, they did a repeat C-section because inducing risked tearing me up after my first C-section.

I'm sure everything will be fine with your kiddo. Giving birth has made me nervous both times and they're still alive 3 and 9 years later. Lol.

My youngest is snuggly. My 5 pounder grew up to be 4'11" at 9 years old and refuses to snuggle. Lol.
