At the end of your pregnancy when the endo doc discharged you from their care. Did you still have to test your blood after every meal? Or were you able to stop doing that?

Endo just discharged ne from their care but I wasn't told to continue or stop testing. And I forgot to ask.

I was told by the dietician that all diet goes.out.the window as soon as baby's born. He actually told me to go have as many ferraro roache as I can. Over here you get the glucose test again when baby is 6weeks to make sure its gone.

Yeah I have to have the test again at my gp a couple weeks after. She gave me the forms and said good luck.

I don't think I'll test anymore then. Let my fingers heal and actually enjoy some junk food before I pop. I won't be indulging in much food after baby is born as I want to start my exercise and clean eating regime as soon as I'm healed and ready to.

Well you are meant to keep your sugars in order until baby is born. The gd dietician just stops seeing you at 35 weeks(I think) once your GD is diet controlled. It it such a pain to keep them how it should be , but DD2 was only 7'11 compared to DD1 being 9'lb so it is important to try stick to it.. Will power and all that :D Have loads of sweets before you can start exercising at 6weeks PP :)

Not so much sweets as chips and pastries lol.

I'm 38w3d.. so hopefully I'll pop any day now.

My levels have always been around 4 and 6 so pretty good.

Everything your not allowed eat looks so good when you've to stay away from them haha. You haven't too much longer left anyway :) That's good , at least it must be easy enough to keep under control.
