I would just tell her that you want it to be your husband, mother and grandmother.

Oh man lol, will your husband tell her for you?

I have the same thoughts about my mum and sister not being there, I'll be having another c-section and I just don't want them to be there, I was more or less FORCED in to having them there with DD2, it was awful. I was telling my mum the other day how I'm just going to have my c-section and come back to the hospital in my town, a few hours later, so OH can come home with the kids and not have my dad look after them over night, she's all "so are you and R just going to go up and have her, then come back?" I'm like "yeah" she's like "oh well, we'll have Ruby, Hazel will be at school, so we'll just have Ruby until you guys come back and we'll come and meet her then" REALLLLLLY lol, I want my dad and kids to be there, I want to say bye before I go in, I want to see them/them to see the new baby as soon as we come out, I dunno how to tell her that though, I just want it to be MY girls, I'm in a pickle, like you it seems. 38

It's so hard not to offend anyone! Good luck to you in your situation. I'm sure it will work out for the both of us just fine. I'm just scared and a chicken to even bring it up to MIL. Lol.

Same goes, I'd have your husband say something for you 38 I'm glad my MIL lives in another country, not that she'd care anyway, she's got lots of grandkids to fuss over 38
