Some people believe certain diets can affect the sex, but I think it's a load of crock.

This!

There are a ton of old wives tales of different ways to try to get one gender over another, but it's all a load of crock! You'll get what you get.....you can't order a baby from a catalogue.

I always found it peculiar how some people are so particular about wanting a certain sex.

I agree. I just wanted a healthy baby....didn't matter if it was a girl or boy. With my first I kinda wished for a girl because I've always wanted a daughter, but if she had been a boy I would have been just as happy and loved him unconditionally.

You can wait and have an ultrasound and when you find out the gender, just do abortion if it's not what you want. That might get expensive though

At what age will they tell, could it be done at earlier time with an amnio?
Is this just in Japan?
Thanks for actually giving advise
