Does this look like the start of a placenta or sac? I was around 5 weeks when my levels went down and was told I was miscarrying. I woukdve been 6weeks 2 days and just passed this :( I examined this and it looked like some sort of sac or something. ;(,

Looks like gestational tissue. When I passed my LO (8w1ds) I passed it inside the amniotic sac. A few days later I started to pass a clot similar to what you posted, freaked me out and went the the hospital. Doctor said it was part of the gestational sac and it was expected. Baby passed at 7w1d.

I'm.not sure what my gestional stage was but from my LMP in was 5 weeks I believe. So would this be a clot or tissue, from the sac?

Looks like the endometrium, which includes the thickened uterine lining and anything it contains (sac, embryo/fetus,etc.). Looks similar to what I passed at 7 weeks(lost the pregnancy at 6wks 4 days).

When I miscarried at 5 1/2 weeks the sac was about half the size of a dime and the baby was smaller than a grain of rice.

Make sure you make an appointment ASAP or call your doctor who may be on call so they can make sure you passed everything so you don't suffer an infection or any hemorrhaging.

I'm so sorry. When I passed my sac, I put it in a ziploc and moved some of the blood off. It was a grayish color and translucent to the point that I could see some of the very small features of my baby and a tiny cord. It's hard to tell with the blood on it. It was by far the most traumatic part of miscarrying. I miscarried at 9 weeks.
