Quoting TheBoyfriend:" This is in regards to the censorship of my post just because my experience with abortion was negative. ... [snip!] ... why the hell don't you crazy ppl allow other ppl to tell their story on how they made a mistake, and then choose from there."

Well, the thing is abortion is evidently a pretty sensitive topic for some people here. A lot of the times when someone disagrees with abortion or voices their opposition to abortion, women here go into Sparta-mode and fight wholeheartedly for the importance of a woman's say over her body and such. Basically, it is going to be difficult to have someone here change their views or perspectives on matters such as abortion.
Really, I don't know why either side wants to change the other's mind. We all have our different opinions, majority of us lived through experiences that contribute to why we think the way we do. What needs to happen here as well as other places is a drastic increase in respect for another person's viewpoints. Just a simple discussion instead of it turning into a battle all the f**king time.

And to be fair, that topic "abortion survivors" really isn't the best place to voice one's views against abortion. I think it's a place for women who've had abortions to find solace or support in one another. But as others here put it, it's protected forum that doesn't allow the fanatical Pro-Life propaganda material.
But honestly, if it were a case where someone went to that forum, asked if abortion would be a good option for her, someone happened to think that it wasn't the best one and chose to explain this in a respectful manner for example, I do feel that this should be a different story. It could make the forum less biased for those whose experiences differed from those of the majority. Rules are rules though, I guess.

Also, I'm sorry for any negative experience you've had with abortion in the past. Wish you the best.

Here are my thoughts on this topic. I don't care. It is their body. If someone wants to kill their baby/fetus/embryo/zygote... that is totally up to them. THEY have to live with it, not me. I personally couldn't do it. But I also personally don't care who can and will do it as long as its not my body they are messing with or my kids. This world is grossly over populated with some extremely cancerous human beings. The more humans, the more the earth gets destroyed. Granted I say that and yet here I am reproducing. Hypocritical right? Everyone and everything has a right to life, as long as that life is respected and the lives of other beings are respected. BUT that is just my thoughts on the topic. Figured I would get that out of the way so I don't feel the need to mention it ever again.

sorry ladies...having an abortion doesnt make you un-pregnant...it makes you the mother of a dead baby! js. not judging anyone & not telling anyone what to do with their own bodies. but i jus wonder if you could have a convo with ur baby...what would ur baby chose? to live or be sucked out horribly and painfully? or burned to death?! so sad. ill jus let God be the judge on whats right & wrong. i only have my view and opinions! Hmmm for someone leaving it to God to judge you certainly put in your own 3 cents ;)

I am confident that my fetus would decide to be with a family that could raise it right as well as not be forced to be born to a mother that could die in the act of having said child... so in either case, I aborted. But trumping all that... if my child that was already here could have her choice she wouldn't want to lose her mother to a child that never even took a breath of air. So yup, content in my choice! I also find that "abortion doesn't make you un-pregnant, it makes you the mother of a dead baby!" statement to be super cute. So, which pro-life piece of propaganda did you rip that from?

Funny how you care about the fetus dying a horrible death and feeling it's horrible and painful................. but what about the children that are already here, living, breathing, living through hell, being beat by their parents, not being fed, not getting healthcare (list goes on) what are YOU doing to help all those needy children, especially those in other countries? Of all religions? The AIDs positive kids? What are you doing for those kids? Oh wait, are you just parading to keep the lives of the fetus... but not giving a damn what happens to them after?

Love this! It's not their body their body stops where the babys body begins. It's not a choice its running away from responsibility there are so many people out there who can't have children who would love to adopt.

There are plenty of children in foster care waiting to be adopted. It ain't nobody's job to pop out babies for people who can't have them.
