My son is 4 1/2. He is obsessed with Batman, so he is getting these two sets:

And he is also a big Mario Bros fan, so he is getting new Mario Bros bedding for his big boy bed as a reward for not wetting the bed anymore

And then he is also getting a doctor play set bc he says he wants to be a doctor.

You could have just put them in the same post.

Bike. Mobi-go. Those other little games.

LO is 3 and I take her to the store and watch her get all excited with things she sees and I tell her she needs to ask santa for them.

My daughter is getting a leap pad (or a similar brand.) I'm not sure what else. We're doing a "want, need, read, wear" and that is going to be her "read" gift. I'm not sure about her want yet, she can't make up her mind.

It seems to be gaining popularity. We're also doing a "together we share" gift, whih is going to be a bunch of different cutting tools for their play-doh.

I know! And this is the least stressed out I've ever felt. There is NO pressure to buy a ton of junk. I'm just really happy. We can really focus on giving this year, and just learn to enjoy what we have. I'm happy. Plus, as the kids get older their "wants" are going to be more expensive, may as well get them used to getting less stuff - but better quality.

Maybe I should do that. This is my first year as a single mom and her birthday is 9 days before x-mas. I am so stressed
