i see so many, especially on here, that say they absolutely love the infant stage and wish their LOs would stay babies. am i the only one that thinks its a nightmare? i kinda wish she'd hurry up and talk and crawl/walk. those challenges are so much easier imo...

I'm hating infant stage. My 7 month old is a little monster. She is the complete opposite of how my son was. I'm scared of how she's gonna be when she's older. She's already a screamer.

I was ready for Mason to get older and start walking and talking. But now that he is walking, and is into EVERYTHING....I miss the infant stage for sure. People want their babies to stay babies because they can't get into shit lol

My nephew is 5 and I wish he was a baby again! At 5, there is so much more to deal with. School, discipline, teaching respect, his own little learning issues that he has, etc. At 2, he was sweet and cuddly....At 5, he is sweet and cuddly when he's sick...but mostly a ornery little butt.

thank God! i was beginning to think i am a horrible mom. i hate the guessing game of why they're screaming their heads off, the constant drooling and spitting up, and the NEVER sleeping. i can deal with the getting in to stuff. i do kinda like that when i put her somewhere i know she's gonna be there when i come back, but she HATES it. she wants to constantly be on the move and can't yet so its driving both of us crazy!

For both of my kids I loved the infant stage. Though they were great, barely cried, only when they needed food, change or a cuddle. And slept peacefully :)

I think it's different when you look back at it. Like, I hated it at the time. The sleepless nights, the crying, ick. However, now that mine IS talking, and walking, I remember the sweetness of that age. When she cuddled with me. When she was a little tiny baby.

When you look back yuo remember the good more then the bad, so I remember the little outfits, and when she was tiny and just slept in my arms. It's MUCH different when you look back I think.

mine will not nap more that 30 mins at a time. usually only 10-15. she obviously needs one and is constantly cranky because she needs one but will NOT stay asleep.

Nope I hated 3 all most as much as I'm hating 4, I'm hoping by 5 she chills the f**k out! I loved infancy with her she was a great infant. She ate well, she slept well, she didn't really cry, rarely did she spit up or have explosive diapers.

I mean, I have brief moments when I wish they were babies again, but looking back, the infant stage kinda sucks (sleepless nights, complete baby schedule, carrying the entire world with you when you needed to go anywhere etc. etc). I personal love ages 2+.....my kiddies are 4 and 6 now and it's wickedly awesome :) They tell me the most amazing stories, get themselves dressed and when we leave the house, they even carry their own shit :D
