Rape and Skimpy Clothing *poll and trigger warning* _______Nope_________ 23772 posts

Do you believe that women, as a whole, are in part responsible for men raping women because they plant or stimulate these desires by means of skimpy clothing and/or actions?

Do you think that skimpy clothing causes men to become over stimulated, thus leading them to rape women? Is this women's fault?

This is not a question of a woman wearing skimpy clothing and being raped, but rather is the act of wearing skimpy clothing in general being an "attack" on men that stirs these desires and thus makes it "starting it?"

Do you think that if women covered up, rape would decrease?

A woman could walk down the street naked, that still wouldn't give a man the right to rape her.

No, its complete horse shit to say a woman's attire is responsible for her being raped.

No.

I believe if a man is going to rape a woman, he'd rape her regardless of what she was wearing.

That doesn't seem logical. A confidant woman is not an easy target?

It's bullshittt to say how a woman acts or what she wears makes her at fault.

And that also says that men can't control themselves which is also bullshit. Men don't just go around and rape someone because they can't control themselves.

They do it bc a damn screw is loose.

I do think that women who wear skimpy clothing are more of a target oppose to women who are more covered up. It makes them look more vulnerable and more easily dominated, when compared to women who are more covered up might look more confident. This isn

I just don't see how this is debatable.

A lot of the times it's because they think they can get away with it.

Again, this isn't that a woman who is dressed scantly is at fault for being raped.

It means that because women IN GENERAL dress in skimpy clothing, they arouse men and over stimulate them. That leads them to rape woman. It is a societal thing. That if woman covered up, men would be less stimulated and would rape less often.
