When I had my MC I didn't have a lot of clotting and wasn't bleeding a lot, but I did end up with MC.

I did. I had a mc at around 5 weeks. They said it was a blighted ovum. I never bled that bad and I only passed one clot and that was after 3-4 days of spotting. however I did had pretty bad cramps for a few hours on day 3 or 4 shorty after I passed a large clot and then was "fine".

how far along are you?
I had a chem preg/early mc, and was like 4 weeks and it just seemed like a slightly heavier period
I also had a mc when I was 12 weeks however the baby stopped growing at 9 weeks, and bled through pads, couldn't get off the toilet I was bleeding so much, ended up having a d&c

I have had a lot of MC's and they were different each time between level of pain, amount of bleeding, and how long it took to go into "full swing". I'm very sorry for you loss. :(

About 4-5 weeks, it was never confirmed how far along i was, i didn't even get my first OB appointment yet but, i missed my period jun 4th. So it's been about 3 weeks since my last period and when we found out for sure.

I've had a couple really bad ones but the others were like a period or less.

The MC I had in october was like that. I barely spotted for two weeks and passed teeeeeeeeeeeeeeny tiny clots. Went to the hospital, was diagnosed with a MC. Came back home, ne cramps, no nothing and my cervix was still closed( yes, I check it myself...haha)...the next morning, cramps of doom, large clots and wide open cervix. Lasted 2-3 days of heavy bleeding, then I was done.

When I had my miscarriage last October, it was just like a slightly heavier period. Everyone said it was going to be painful and lots of blood, but mine wasn't. I did bleed for about 8 days, but other than that it really wasn't that bad physically speaking. I was 7w2d when I started bleeding and had a natural m/c - no need for a D&C.

Quoting Mama k ♥:" Again yes.. Anyone have a MC and the bleeding and clotting not bad? It was confirmed that i am infact ... [snip!] ... i mean my periods seem worse than this? Sorry i've have been posting so many MC threads but, this is my first one... TIA"

i have had a d&c with both my miscarriages, but afterwards i bled fairly heavy with fairly big clots (especially considering that they should have gotten most of it out)

Oh no Kate :'( no one deserves what you are going through. My heart aches for you, but it will get better. Think if all the things that could be been wrong & God saved you a worse outcome possibly. When I had my MC at 19 it was a very heavy period first and tiny clots came out, almost like strings. I had the worst cramps of my life & then after about 3 days it was a normal period again. In fact I didnt even know what was going on till I went to the doctors & was told. Lot of prayers your way, snuggle up your son & hubby!! It'll make things better. <3

Aw, I had no idea you've been through it. That sounds a lot like what I'm going through. They are like strings, but really short thin teeny ones. It's not heavy though. I've never had heavy periods, and this is lighter than a normal period for me. I do feel like I'm in labor though, when my cramps come. Ugh.. I'll be okay, even though it hurts..
