Quoting Kells.:" Are you really 22? You're not that young. I mean, that's not old, by any means, but that's close to the age of a LOT of women on this site."

That's something that has always pissed me off.

I find that a lot of women who have children when they are teens, use it as a crutch for every criticism, every mistake, and every regret.

I have an acquaintance who is 34 and still blames the fact that she was a teen mother on her dependence on welfare and her lack of education.....when in reality, she is a lazy, slutty loser.

That's so true. A handful of people that I know came straight to mind when you said that.
And LOL at the last part. :D

I laughed pretty hard.

I have a friend like that too. Slightly younger, she is pregnant with her third child. Had her first as a teen as well. Tells me she will amount to nothing but a baby factory..
 So she just keeps popping kids out when she has no time or 'energy' to actually raise or look after them! Dora babysits them, it's pretty sad actually.

She can't do school because she is 'too busy' laying on her back and getting knocked up!

We had our kids (her first, my only child) exactly 6 months apart.

They first thing she did when she found out she was pregnant was drop out of high school and go on welfare. The first thing I did, was start going to school part time and working full time.

That basically set the precedent for the next few years. She sat around and did nothing besides squeezing out 3 more kids, I continued working and ended up going to school (I'm working on my 4th degree).
