i hear that some people get the vaccines and get it anyways because it doesn't take.

question, if it happens to my child, will it happen with all of them, or will it just be that certain one. i was always curious about that. what are the statistics reguarding that?

probably just that one because what happens are there are different strands of each virus. So if your child gets it anyways it is probably a diff. strand

well, depending on the decision i do make, i hope it doesn't happen ever, because i probably wouldn't give her another.

yeah, i can totally understand why you aren't doing it. i probably wouldn't either. if they aren't effective then what's the point? and like you said, he suffers from it.

Quoting Boobylicious:" Or it just didn't take, since vaccines are only 60-70% effective. None of my sons took. After him having ... [snip!] ... 2 illnesses he was vaccinated against, I had him tested. I'm sure my sons isn't a common case, but one not taking is common."

Wow, that is interesting

i'm sure. i would as well, but you tried to do the best for your baby, and that's honestly all that matters, i wouldn't feel so badly about it.

I think if that happened to my son I would feel the same way and probably wouldn't vaccinate my next child. But in general, I think vaccines are great for our society

My only question is if you choose not to get vaccines how do your kids get enrolled into school without proper vaccinations..due to the fact that shot records are required ?
