So my daughter is potty trained but all of a sudden today she just decided to not use the toilet everytime she had to go. She peed her pants 3 times today. I know youre not supposed to punish a kid because they have an accident but theyre not accidents...shes been doing it on purpose and idk why. She thinks its funny. What should I do? I dont want her to think its ok.. She has only done it for the first time today I dont want it to continue.

give extra praise when she does it right and just change her clothes/ make her clean up the mess when she has an "accident"

if you're wanting to punish maybe take things away?

It is OBVIOUS that she is doing it to get a reaction out of you. Don't pay it any mind. & keep her in the wet clothes for a couple of minutes, I bet she will learn to hate having accidents after being wet.

I'd keep her in it for a few minutes too. I wouldn't get angry or anything. I'd also tell her to change her clothes herself. Of course I'd be kneeling by her coaching her. I don't think she'd enjoy that.
Extra praise and reaction when she does it right though!!

It is such a yucky feeling when you are wearing wet clothes!

After the last time I made her sit in time out for a little.

She'll pee her pants then take off her wet pants and underwear...put them in the wash..then run over to me saying she wants new underwear and pants on.
The last time she ran over bottomless asking for pants and undies and I asked what happened to the ones she had on. She started laughing and said she peed in them. I just told her that wasnt nice and she knows better. and when I say that she says "use the potty?" and Im like yes. I ask if its because she wants to start wearing diapers again and she says she doesnt want to wear diapers. Idk why she started doing it...
