Ok I'm confused because I never ever heard anyone say they were 10 months pregnant. They always say I'm 9 months pregnant and thats usually when baby comes out. I'm 34 weeks pregnant...which 34(weeks) divided by 4(weeks) because isnt there 4 weeks in a month? = 8.5, which is 8 1/2 months pregnant. So I'm lost..am i only a 1/2a month away from labor or another month and a half.!! HELP ME!!! I mean cmon it doesnt make any sense to me.

You're pregnant for 40wks which equals 10 months. I think it's just 9 and easier to understand because most women don't know they are pregnant until they are like 5-6wks which means that yoiu have already been pregnant for 1 month. I was confused about that too. I just go by the wks.

Actually, you're pregnant for 38 weeks. However, since they calculate due dates from the first day of the last menstrual period it is 40 weeks. However, assuming you ovulate on day 14 you really are not pregnant the first 2 weeks.

Your only pregnant for 9 months, its kinda confusing the way they count what month your in tho. Tomorrow I'll be 18 weeks or 5 months, but it will only be 4 months since my last period...I just go by weeks, its easier that way.

Ya it reallyis ten months if you go by weeks and what not. Look at it like this when you first find out your pregnant how far do you say you are "bout 1 month already" which is only 4 weeks. So at 32 weeks you hit the beginning of your 8th month and at 36 you hit the beginning of your 9 months. So by the time you are all done and have your baby it has been almost 10. It is confusing and I may not have helped but what can you do preggo brain sucks! Good luck your almost there!

ur only prego for 9 months...and yes, generally speaking there is 4 weeks...but in reality theres technically 4.5 weeks in a month...theres never exactly 4 weeks...its always 4 weeks and some days, and some months actuallyhave 5 weeks...

easiest way to do it...is ur prego for about 280 days...so just take how many weeks u are prego, times that by 7...then divide that by 31.11 and thats how far u are in ur pregnancy...for me, my answer would be 7.65...a lil farther past 7 1/2 months...which is true for the due date, since i'm not due til feb 9, so jan 9th i'd be a full 8 months...and i still have 12 days til that point in time...so it all equals out lol

I dont really understand it either but you really are pregnant for 10 months becuz it goes by weeks it doesnt actually go by months. If you look at some websites that tell you what month each week is there are more than 4 weeks in some months. Thats the only way i can really explain it I could be wrong but I go by weeks and the website I go by says 28 weeks is 7 months. Its very confusing haha.

Has anyone had a terrible stomache flu while pregnant? I got in about 3:30 on Sunday morning. I haven't felt that terrible in a while. I was wondering if there's any thing you can take for caughing. Mine just won't go away. Any suggestions would be welcome. :)
