My mom keeps telling to get something to wear on my stomach after I have the baby like a girdle or something. She says that it will help my stomach tighten up faster along with working out. Is this true? Have any of you done this? Girdles are very uncomfortable. I have also heard of using a BellaBand or something like that. Have you ladies tried this or something like this after giving birth?
I did, and it helped a lot!
I did after having my first. It helped alot... until I got pregnant when she was 5 months old lol
Does it work if you're more than a year PP?!?! I'd do it.
I haven't had my baby yet, but I was given the same advice from friends and family who did use a " girdle". I bought the Belly Bandit. From what I can see of the people I know who used it..it works!..FAST!
I have heard of the Bella Band and hear its worth the money~ I will be buying one~ unfortunately they are like 50 bucks and I cannot find them any cheaper than that~
When I found out I was pregnant the first time my mom told me about these garments that some of her maternity and postpartum patients wear. These garments are phenomenal. My body after having two children has bounced back very well. What I like the most about this postpartum girdle is it does more than just push in your stomach. They are trying to get it approved as a medical garment.
It helps with preventing clotting after birth so much stuff. I got this from the site that I think you may find interesting.
Helps with a speedy recovery after childbirth by encouraging the internal organs to reposition themselves into their proper location. Compresses the uterus encouraging the easier expulsion of clots. Helps prevent hemorrhages and provides proper support so you can be fully mobile in caring for your baby. Assists the muscles of the abdomen and the back.
I had not heard of this either until I gave birth to my daughter and my grandma practically made me get one haha, it did help! I got a regular cheap one at target so you don't have to spend a lot to get the same results as the expensive ones.
