I'm totally lost on this subject. Isn't the main purpose of the 2, the same thing?
Any input would be greatly appreciated! :D
Baby lotion moisturizes. Baby oil seals in moisture.
I can't use baby oil on my son. His skin's too sensitive, and needs to breathe. Baby oil suffocates his pores.
I use a creamy baby oil. It helps keep and get rid of the cradle cap, and it is the only thing Ive found that doesnt make him break out.
i prefer baby lotion. Baby oil is way 2 greasy n it doesnt smell as good as the lotion. As far as the job it does-its for the same thing
I only had to use baby oil on his crown for cradle cap... it helped it lots. But, for skin no never... lotion is nice... if I had to use something it would be that.
Evan has super dry skin and the baby oil works really well if you put it on them immediately out of the bath while their still wet. I put lotion on in between changes or on days he doesn't get a bath.
Oil can clog pores :(
But it is fabulous for preventing food from sticking to their face, just rinse and wipe
I have never used either of them because my mom says it is not needed it is just another item that they have marketed for so long that people spend money on to make someone else rich...lol...
Quoting I LOVE EVAN!:
