so im pregnant yet again with twins so my stomach is growing faster then my first which was only a singleton pregnancy..So now my son is 2 years old and hes in his tterrible 2's stage where he jsut won't stop running around and he's so damn clumsy! Theres not a day where he doesnt elbow or kick or hit my stomach! I tried rubbing my stomach and saying baby to show him theres a baby in mommys stomach but now he's starting to rub his stomach saying baby which is really cute but its the wrong message now I gotta figure out how to show him he doesn't have a baby in his belly and how to be calm around me and the belly..Any advice??!?!
There's not much you can do if its an accident. I know its highly annoying. Maybe you could try to explain to him that he hurts you when he hits the tummy. It may help some. My son was a little older and I still had issues, but at least he understood a little better. I did take him to the ultrasounds (well all of the appts) but I think he understood a little better when he had the visual. He also got his own pics of the baby.

Unless it hurts you, you have nothing to worry about. The baby is very protected. I've heard of women falling on their stomach's and nothing happened. My daughter always runs into it. She's almost 5. It's not that she doesn't know to be careful but when they are that young, when they build up a momentum...it's hard to stop them...lol.
