I took showers with my mom probably till I was 5 and then when she would get off work and take a bath and i would put my feet in and we would talk.

I am 21 now and can still sit in the bathroom while my mother showers and talk. as well as with her. When I broke my hip my mother and BD where the ones to have to get me in and out of the bath so on and so forth so. I am glad that I am comfortable enough with her to not feel weird.

My BD has a daughter who is 8 now. I have been in her life since she was 2. We shower together occasionally still depending on if went went to the lake or if we are in a rush and she needs a bath before we head out.

She used to shower with her dad up until probably five or six. And that was just on occasion but we feel nothing wrong with it. We have taught her the difference between boys and girls and she knows what is and isnt appropriate. She can say if she doesnt feel like taking a shower with me but i am not comfortable with her taking a shower alone only baths.

My BD and I walk around the house in our undies so does she. Her mother is more conservative as far as showering with her. So whe she was maybe 5 she would giggle at seeing us naked and say i see you boo boo. talking about our butts. But now she is used to it and I think it is a good thing that way she won't grow up to have in body issues later.

I'm just not sure what "when they start to ask questions" is the reason to kick kids out of the tub.
They're just questions. Kids are naturally curious. I'm not seeing why one would effect the other.
My son has seen my vagina, my b******e, my b**bs and everything else in between. They're just like any other body part. And he knows that we don't show them in public.

I have taken baths and showers with both of my daughters. My husband refuses, and I am glad because I wouldn't want him too either. My three year old is eye level with my husbands p*** thank you.

My daughter is almost 3 years old & I still bathe with her. My hubby took baths with her every now & then until she was about 8 months old. We both have taken a bath with Judah who is almost 2 months. We have a big garden tub & we all 4 got in it the other day. Hehe!

I think its perfectly fine.
Which brings to mind an incident involving my BIL. He was pegged as a "molester" once for taking a bath with one of his babies. That IMO is completely uncalled for.

I think its great when they are young eough that they don't think anything of it....when my son was 4 i stopped, but he is delayed so mentally and physically he was 2 yrs.

I think it's fine, as long as it's the same sex bathing together. Three is about the age though, that I'd stop. I actually think it may be safer. I mean, there's a much better chance of you reacting to a slip or fall when your right there in the tub with them.

I take a bath with my DD almost every night. I usually leave my undies on, though. We did have one incident where she got a little too curious about mommy's hair "down there". OUCH!
I'd never take a shower with her; not because of the n****y, but I just know I'd slip and down we'd go.
Hubby won't take a bath with her, but mainly because that's my time with her. I have to work all day and he stays home. :(
