Bleeding at 6 weeks. Ovaryacting Due September 6; 2 kids; United States 2104 posts

Yesterday I started bleeding with some clots and I presumed I was miscarriaging. I went to the Dr and was told that I was 6 weeks on the dot and baby had a heartbeat. There was a small place by the placenta that they were not worried about. But my cervix is very irritated and I have a yeast infection. They’re thinking that the bleeding is coming from where my cervix is irritated. I’m still so nervous. I’m still bleeding, I have to wear a pad, its red and when I rest for a few hours it starts turning a brownish color. Dr said pregnancy looks viable but I don’t know what to think.... Any experience anything similar to this?

No experience but try to trust the Dr. At least for a little while...Babe had a heart beat so that is a good sign...sticky dust and prayers

I had my OB appointment yesterday. I should of been 6 weeks and 3 days. I was measuring 5 1/2 weeks AGAIN. Couldn’t find the baby only a yolk sac. I’m still bleeding but they said the bleeding isn’t coming from around the sac or anything. In there words, that’s good..

Im so confused. I don’t know if the ER had a better ultrasound machine or what. The ER did a long scan and found baby with a HB. My OB tech only saw the sac and quit looking. I’m getting so fed up and annoyed. I just want to know if this pregnancy is viable or not. I want to know why I’m still bleeding and if my baby is in there.

Weird because in the bottom picture in that collage from you OB scan, I can see the fetal pole directly underneath the yolk sac. Not sure why they said they couldn't find it. I'm no expert, but just comparing it to the ER scan you can tell thats where baby is. Did they look at your er scan?

I'm guessing er had a better machine or more experiend technician, or maybe both. But the sac looks good, if the doctor says it's nothing to worry about I'd try not to stress. Easier said than done, I know

You can? Hmm.. I was not impressed with the tech who did my scan. It lasted maybe 3 minutes. I’m thinking the ER had better equipment and a better tech.
