My DS will be two months old on the 12th. We have noticed he never smiles and doesn't make eye contact. I will mention it again at his two month check up. But should I be worried? Cause it worries me. :(

Is there a history with any of your children, to why this alarms you?

Are you concerned,  What are you concerned about?

I would mention your concerns to your Dr.

At 2 months old I wouldn't be concerned but if you are worried about it definitely bring it up to the doctor.

My 5 year old was so hard to get to smile as a baby, but he’s the happiest little boy now. Always smiling and full of laughter.

I wouldn't be too worried, my brother was a very serious baby, even as a toddler/kid my nana would always say to my mum, is that kid ok, he never smiles 38 he's 28 now and pretty good. Always talk to his doctor if you're worried tho!

Thanks ladies. As to why I worry, I worry about everything. I have had a lot of people comment on the fact that he won't make eye contact or smile. So then I think about my other kids at that age and I'm like oh man.. cause they did both of those things at his age. I have a lot of added stress lately anyways which just has me stressing and worrying about every little thing.
