So, I stopped my birth-control a month ago. I'm waiting for my period to show up so I can start the ovulation testing as my last child it was day 12 after my period I ovulated, but that was years ago.
What I'm nervous about is I've been on birth control pills for a couple of years, and I stopped them a month ago. Is it ok to try and conceive a month later?
Thanks!
Yes, best of luck
I was told to wait two cycles by my OB... that way the lining of your ovaries is thicker? Or something I can’t remember what they told me exactly.
Best of Luck! Congrats and have fun!
It is! My cousin was actually told to do just this to conceive after struggling due to endometriosis. It worked twice like a charm. I also conceived my kids right after stopping pills. I read once somewhere deep within the interwebs that stopping bc pills and conceiving soon after could have contributed to me having identical twins but again, that was during a late, late twin search night in my early days with them, wanting to know everything I was facing.
Good luck! Have fun while trying
