DS had his first hair cut back in September when he was 10 months old and I really wasn't too upset about it, I literally shed 1 year when it was getting done, more so because he was freaking out. DH and I are debating on taking him for his second haircut today and I am a blubbering mess, lol. Why?!
His hair is curly and wild. We love it so much, but as it is getting warmer out he is sweating so much and itching it constantly. It is always in his eyes so we tie it up. It just isn't comfortable for him. Most strangers think he's a girl, lol.
I guess I am just so afraid of him looking different and of the haircut looking terrible because he is going to freak out. I'm a mess, haha Embarassed

I LOVE his hair! If i had had a boy I was going to grow his hair out.  I love boys with long hair.  He's too adorable.  I'd be a mess over cutting it tooWink

That is a good head of hair lol! Honestly it is curly and thick and just gorgeous - it's going to look awesome shorter too.  And you can let it grow out again in the fall!

Thank you! I love boys with long hair too. He's just a natural sweater and his hair makes it worse, lol.

Ive decided against cutting my boys' hair unless they ask for it. Ds2 has gorgeous hair. If he doesnt mind keeping it pulled back, i wouldnt worry about cutting it, personally.

He's so adorable, I would just tie it up, if I'm being honest!

Cute! My DS1 (21m) hates hair cuts but his is super thick and grows crazy fast so i've been cutting it since he was 6m old. I can't stand trying to wash it when it gets longer and his is straight and sticks straight out from his head so everyone has the urge to feel it and he has people touching his head a lot

We ended up cutting it yesterday and he did so good! He didn't cry at all and sat awesome. We went to a different place from his first haircut. He sat in a fire truck and my husband blew bubbles while the lady cut it. We trimmed it so it was out of his eyes and kept his curls. He seems happy with it and washing it wasn't a battle last night Wink
