I'm thinking Alaina looks the best but I want others opinions. I kind of like Alana too but I'm worried it would be mispronounced.

I prefer Elena as well, but that could be because it's the way I spell my daughter's name ☺. I liked that it could easily be shortened to Ellie, which was another name on my list at the time. If we hadn't spelled it that way, we would have spelled it Alaina.

Alaina but I definitely prefer Elena. Grew up with a girl named Alana and she pronounced it Uh-lawn-uh, so that ones out for me.

I'd say Alaina. To me, Alana would be pronounced differently, and I'm sure it would be annoying to keep correcting people.

Agreed. I love Elena. I think E names are unique for girls

I used to work with a girl who's name was spelled and pronounced this way. So, when I read it I automatically pronounced it this way.

I have to go agree with the others, Alaina, but prefer Elena.

I havent voted....my question is how do you want the name pronounced?  Then I can decide what I would choose...

Im not big on the E spelling, i Probably wouldn't use Ellie or Elle anyways. I'd rather her nick name be lainy. Isn't the E spelling pronounced a little different too? Like el-laynuh as opposed to Uh-laynuh with an A? I thought they were 2 different names lol

Does it get mispronounced a lot with that spelling? It looks like it's pronounced ell-lee-nuh.
