Pretty sure I used regular cotton bikinis and put a panty liner in between my incision and the underwear band so the staples didn't catch. 100 yrs ago though.

I lived in my maternity ones from Motherhood Maternity during pregnancy and after my csection.

I wore the mesh ones from the hospital the first few days home (I asked for extra) and then just wore my regular lowrise cotton undies after that. They took my staples out on day 4 in the hospital so I didn't have to worry about any staples catching.

Those are what I remember, the mesh ones! I may just ask for extras of those and get some boy shorts for home. I'm trying to get things for my bag and I seriously keep feeling like a noob at this c-section/birth thing.

I wore granny diapers for the first 2 weeks because i hated the ones from the hospital. I put an extra pad on top of the incision so thr staples dont catch. Then i used maternity undies.

I loved the hospital ones.  I had an awesome nurse who kept bringing them to me. I even wore them like the entire first week home.

Pretty much anything cotton, you want to let the area "breathe".
I also really liked these, they're also mesh. click

Cotton anything will do. If the area can't breathe it will stay wet and not heal, can also cause an infection. I got thoes Hanes xtreme ones I think bikini style and they pulled over the incision. I wasn't stapled though, I had thoes steri-strips on for 7 days. After 6 weeks I had a pair of c-panties, they have a silicone gel pad that is where the incision is and they pull way up to under my b**bs. They help to tighten skin back up and the silicone helps your scar not itch and helps it fade some.

Thank you! I'm nervous, not sure what my OB will do. Staples last time and it was horrible!
