DS2 is 16 days old and he's been super crabby from being gassy and spitting up a lot. I know i have an oversupply and an overactive letdown causing him to get too much air and he doesnt burp well. Can i give him gripe water or something to help with the gas?

I know one thing that helped me was I hand expressed first before letting baby latched on and it helped a lot. Mine choked and gagged in the beginning.

Hand express before latching and it helps to feed on the swme side twice for an overactive supply. A hindmilk imbalance also makes baby super gassy from to much lactose. Id try that before gripe water. Goodluck! Also speek to a LC if you have acess.
