I had an allergic reaction to the tape they use for the epidural and I have bumps all over my back. It's extremely itchy. Is it safe to use cortisone cream while breast feeding? I got some while at Walmart but didn't want to use it if it's not safe.

Yes perfectly safe. The amount of steroid absorbed by skin is minimal. I had really bad eczema after my daughter and I had to apply a prescription steroid cream all over my hands it was so painful

Thank god. This is horrible but they didn't give me anything for it.

Check out the lacmed app from NIH...it tells you what is safe :)
