We found out today at 10 weeks our baby stopped growing at 9 weeks 4 days. I have had no bleeding and my cervix is tightly closed. I still have 'pregnancy symptoms' as well.

I don't know what to do. My OB said we could give it time or have a dnc. Does anyone have any recommendations or advice.

I'm so sorry hun. I had my miscarriage last year at 11 weeks and under the same circumstances. I would wait and give it time if she's allowing you to. That is what I did, but unfortunately my body didn't want to do what it should, which is when my doctor gave me the prescription to take at home. Once I took it, it only took about 24 hours for everything to pass. It is definitely not an easy decision to make and I suggest taking your time.

Thanks I appreciate it. I'm having a hard time with waiting and having a baby who died inside me... It feels like it's never going to end. My OB definately wants me to wait and take time to grieve first.

It was very hard to cope. I couldn't understand why my body wasn't doing it's job and wanting to hold on. If you need an ear feel free to message me.

Omg I'm so sorry :( pregnancy is so scary. :( I don't know what I'd do but I'd probably opt for a D&C instead of waiting for the unknown :( sending love and prayers mama

Thank you, I appreciate it. I called back and asked to be scheduled asap.  I can't handle the thought of waiting longer.

Thanks. That's exactly how I feel. After talking to my doctor I'm going ahead with the surgery tomorrow.  I can't handle the thought of going weeks like this.

I am so sorry :(

My miscarriage, i had decided to wait and it's a decision I would not make again. It made an already rough time even more difficult, physically painful, and more drawn out.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I've had two mmc, both at 10 weeks and I decided on a D&C both times. I just couldn't handle it emotionally or physically because I was still having intense pregnancy symptoms. I had no bleeding or cramps till after the procedure so my doctor(s) said it could be weeks before my body caught on.

I'm so sorry for your loss. When I had my miscarriage I miscarried most of it naturally then found out there was tissue that didn't pass and ended up needing a DNC so I would say go with the DNC.

My loss was also at 10 weeks.

I opted for the D&C, it was super painful when my body decided it was time. It was super comparable to the contractions I had with both of my boys when labor started. I wasn't unaware baby had stopped growing until the process had started. I didn't want to risk my uterus not fully emptying.

So sorry to hear momma<3
