Well I'll guess with this flu epedemic the hospital put up restrictions where I guess my kids won't be able to come see their baby brother at the hospital when I have him. Makes me sad but I guess it's for the best. Hate winter!!

For us it's children under 12 who are not siblings to the baby that aren't aloud to visit when there is a bad flu outbreak...I would clarify by speaking to someone.

Ya that's what I'm hoping it is. I could of swear they did the same thing when my last was born. I'll for sure be asking about it.

My older son wasn't allowed to visit when my younger son was born, it was during the big H1N1 thing... Very Sad

My husband tried to sneak him in and they physically got kicked out. Lol. Angry

They had the exact same regulations when I had my son back in September but it was kids that aren't siblings that weren't allowed of course ours specified on their posting that so I would definitely ask.

That does suck but I'd ask about siblings.

I had DS2 in the middle of December when there were flu restrictions as well. No one under 18, except for siblings. They didn't specify that on their signs. I had to ask the nurse when I went in for my induction. Like others said, I would ask.

I think healthy siblings are an exception to the children under 12.

Oh that sucks. There is so much out there this time of year. Across the canso in my province there is several confirmed cases of measles. The hospital where I am at, only allows parents and grandparents. No kids or other family/friends at all.
When I had my first it was during the N1H1 outbreak it was only parents. So only SO, I wasn't having that, I snuck my mom in my room at 6am. The nurses actually let her stay for delivery, but she could not leave the room at all, once she left she wasn't allowed back in. because someone may see her.
It gets boring, but the quite/ alone time with baby is nice. Everyone got to see DD when I left the hospital.
