Was prescribed Zofran for morning sickness. I took my last dose about an hour ago and honestly feel no better. About how long did it take for you to notice a difference?

When I took the one you swallow it would take about 30-45 min to start feeling better. I've noticed when I take the dissolvable ones, it works faster but doesn't last as long. Either way, sometimes, it just didn't work and id end up throwing up anyway lol. Bleeeccckkk pregnancy sucks.

Zofran usually kicked in within the half hour for me, but I'd rather puke my guts out then have the major constipation it caused.

yea that's one side effect that I hate, plus I have to take iron supplements and I guess they cause constipation too. I've been trying to drink tons of water. It somewhat helps.

What dosage did he prescribe you? Anything less than 8mg doesn't work for me.

what the eff! They only prescribed me with 4mg. I didn't even know you could take 8. That probably would have helped me earlier on lol.

I take up to 16mg when I need to (at the advice of my doctor of course). That's crazy, I'd be pissed lol!

Even though I know Zofran is safe, I'm really trying to take the least amount of medication possible. But I'm leaving for vacation today and I need to pack an run errends but I just couldn't because I left so gross :(

I took the generic callled ondanstron(sp?). it didn't stop the naseau, only stopped me from puking. I just needed it to keep me hydrated.

I hate that I need it in the morning everyday, I can't wait for it to all be over! At least this time around I knew about zofran so I didn't have to suffer too long.

I'm totally the same way. Everyone said it would get better in the second trimester, but I'm 18 weeks now and it's still getting worse. Thank God for Zofran, I wouldn't get out of bed without it lol 38
