Debating on whether to get the padded bumper pad that goes with the bedding or the new breathable bumper pads? I heard the padded bumper pads are very dangerous and are one of the causes of SIDS.
What did you use?

I used a breathable bumper and I loved it! I will be getting another one for this baby.

We used the one that came with the bedding until she started standing and trying to climb on it.

Breathable for sure. I've noticed a lot of crib bedding sets in stores don't even come with bumpers anymore.

We didn't use one at all last time, this time we are doing the breathable bumper. A friends baby died of SIDS, so I don't take any risks :(

I'm probably getting a breathable one for my 10-month-old when she finally moves out of our room mainly because they have a pink color I like. I had padded with my boys. I tried going without and they'd get their arms or legs pinched between the slats somehow.

breathable for sure!! That's what I used for my son and now my daughter. good thing too cause at 2 months shes already squirming her self to the side of the crib during the night.

Used the one that came with her bedding. Took it out when she got mobile.
