Has anyone gone through this? Alexander'sMomma! Due April 10; TTC since Aug 2012; 1 child; Layton, UT, United States 2574 posts

Has your husband ever said these words "Because you are pregnant.. I can't do this or that" Something that hurts my feelings is him saying "Because you are pregnant, I've gained weight" Before I was pregnant my husband and I lost over 60 lbs together, I made both of our meals.. My mistake was I fixed his plate and made sure his portion control was good.. We always worked out together. Whenever I got pregnant I stopped running (yes stupid I know, my family was freaking out about me running) but I still go with him to get a walk in. He is very unmotivated.. And i've tried to help motivate him, to work out.. and to do things on his own. I just hear him blaming my pregnancy or putting it as an excuse to not keep his weight in check.

Anyone go through something similar?

that would piss me off.  I would tell him he can only blame himself.

I've told him that, and he gets so offended. But if I start acting a certain ways he goes on to say "Okay mom" Its so frustrating.

He sounds pretty immature. He's in the AF? Doesn't PT and work keep him moving? lol

Dh blames me for his weight gain all the time during pregnancy. I ignore him but then my dh does it more as a joke cause I get emotional if people don't eat when I think they're hungry while I'm pregnant

You make people eat just because you think they are hungry?

If husband ever said that to me, I would kick him in the face. Know that this is not your fault.

Their PT is a joke. 38

And yes I went through the exact same thing with my DH when I got pregnant. It didn't hurt me, we kind of made a joke out of it. He always said with any of my future pregnancies he is just going to deploy for most of it so he doesn't gain any weight. 38

My ex hubby was in the AF and yeah, compared to what my friends in the Marines,Army and Navy do... it isn't as bad. lol I just figured maybe it would keep him somewhat active. :/

I wish they had PT everyday like other squadrons. But they don't. He has to go to a class for failing pt tests though, and I have to "remind" him to go. Some  days he won't even go to it because he is playing video games, and is tired.

Lmao I don't MAKE people eat. I just kinda turn into a grandma while I'm pregnant in the sense that I get sad if people don't want to eat when I cook. I know while I'm crying that I'm nuts and it's the pregnancy hormones and I tell people to ignore it but I can't help it. It was way more with my last pregnancy than this one. I guess I just like ensuring everyone has had enough to eat.

I wish the AF had better PT -_- I'd love for DH to deploy but he is in the process of cross training!

DH does too. It is one of the main reasons he shoots for 90's so  he can PT on his own because what is mandatory is not enough.
And my DH is cross training too. Thats hilarious.

DH did great on pt until he met me, he got lazy. A lot of people have tried running with him, and working out with him.. But its literally so hard to work out with someone who  complains the WHOLE time.
