Friday morning I went in at 5am for an elective induction. I was having contractions every 5 minutes when I got to hospital. It took a while to get my IV in I had 3 nurses try. Two veins rolled & 1 blew out before finally getting a good one. At 5:48 they started pitocin. I was only dilated to a 1.5. My Dr broke my water at 8:32. By 10:32 my contractions were every minute my heart jumped up to 127. I was hurting so I got my epidural. At 10:50 I was almost a 4 & 70%. 12:20 nurse checked me again I was a 7 & almost 90%. She said we will be having a baby within the hour. At 12:38 I was a 9+. 12:45 time to push but had to wait on my Dr. After she got here it was 3 minutes of pushing and Clara was here!
I ended up bleeding too much they said I lost over a liter of blood. Dr had to come back & make sure there was nothing left in there. She dug out a ton of clots. I had to stay in delivery room longer than expected but finally got moved to a room at 5:00. Bleeding was finally under control . Everything is good now. Just waiting to go home today.
